Enabling VNC graphics

On enabling VNC server on linux machine, it give us a kind of weird look, to make it colorful here is the solution.

1) To enable VNC run command
$vncserver






2) Open xstartup file
 
vi /root/.vnc/xstartup

3) Remove #from last two lines of first three lines

From this
# unset SESSION_MANAGER
# exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc


To this
unset SESSION_MANAGER
exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc


Start vnc server again
$vncserver

Change port from 1 to 2 on VNC viewer

Change option to (prefer on)

Hi, Please do the following and retest the issue: Due to the method required for "cleaning out" / "re-synchronizing" the following tables, it is EXPECTED / REQUIRED that the Applications have been shutdown. The only thing running should be the Database Tier. Note: A full backup should also be taken before any testing begins. Test the following steps in a development instance, and then migrate accordingly once the desired result is confirmed: 1.
